💐 Your Floral Questions, Answered
We know wedding planning comes with a lot of details, and flowers are a big part of creating the perfect atmosphere. To make things simple, we’ve gathered the most common questions couples ask us about our floral design process, pricing, and what to expect when working with Sage & Sonder Events and Design.
What do wedding flowers cost?
Every wedding is different, but most couples set aside 8–10% of their overall budget for flowers. Our designs generally range from $2,000–$6,000, depending on scale and style, and always include delivery and installation.
Instead of strict minimums or limited availability, we work with you to create something meaningful and beautiful at a price point that feels comfortable.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes—we want planning to feel easy. You can:
Reserve your date with a small deposit and make monthly payments, or
Pay a larger deposit upfront and the remaining balance anytime before 60 days out.
What’s the process like?

-

When should I start planning my flowers?
We recommend beginning your floral planning once your venue and date are set. For the smoothest process, most couples book with us 5–7 months before the wedding.
Can I request specific flowers or styles?
Of course! While seasonal availability plays a role, we’ll do everything possible to source the blooms you love. Whether you’re drawn to timeless classics or unique textures, we’ll design arrangements that reflect your personality and color palette.
Do I need a deposit before I can speak with someone?
Not at all! Your first consultation is complimentary. Once you’re ready to move forward, you can secure your date with a deposit.
What flowers are in season?
We always use the freshest blooms available and design around what’s naturally in season:
Winter (Dec–Feb): Amaryllis, Paperwhites, Hellebores, Poinsettias
Spring (Mar–May): Peonies, Tulips, Orchids, Poppies
Summer (Jun–Aug): Hydrangeas, Sunflowers, Gardenias, Zinnias
