Refund Policy

At Sage & Sonder Events and Design, we understand that plans may change and we strive to be as fair and transparent as possible with our clients. The following refund and cancellation policies apply to all events booked with us, including weddings, birthdays, parties, corporate events, and other special occasions.

 

Deposits & Payments

  • The first payment (deposit) is refundable within 7 days of payment.

  • A full refund will also be issued if cancellation occurs at least 90 days before the scheduled event date.

  • With these exceptions, and unless otherwise agreed in writing, all payments are non-refundable.

 

Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to johanna@sageandsonderevents.com.

  • Refund eligibility is determined based on the date the written cancellation request is received.

 

Refunds for Services & Installations

  • If Sage & Sonder Events and Design has already begun preparation, purchasing of materials, or custom work specific to your event, refunds may not be available even if within the above timeframe. In these cases, refunds will be handled at our discretion.

  • No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 90 days of the event.

 

Force Majeure / Rescheduling

  • If your event must be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances (such as weather emergencies, natural disasters, or other events beyond your control), Sage & Sonder Events and Design will work with you to apply your payment to a new date, subject to availability.

  • Rescheduled events must take place within 12 months of the original event date.

 

Damaged or Incomplete Services

If products (such as floral arrangements, balloon installations, or décor rentals) arrive damaged or incomplete, Sage & Sonder Events and Design will make every effort to repair, replace, or otherwise remedy the situation in a timely manner. If a replacement cannot be provided, a partial refund may be issued at our sole discretion.
