I will make sure you enjoy the process every step of the way. We thrive in design and decoration services- from table decoration and setups, floral designs, and arches to balloon garlands, etc
I’ve always had a passion for planning and design—whether it was coordinating corporate events, community programs, or family celebrations. That love for details and creativity really came into focus when I planned my own backyard wedding in just three months. A storm knocked down my tents, my groom broke his foot, and my dad ended up in the ER—yet I still found myself arranging flowers and tying chair sashes late into the night to make sure everything was perfect.
That experience taught me two things: events rarely go 100% as planned, and no couple should have to carry that weight on their own. That’s why I created Sage & Sonder Events and Design. My goal is to take the stress off your shoulders, bring your vision to life, and make your event seamless and beautiful—whether it’s a wedding, birthday, or corporate celebration.
I believe flowers are what truly make an event pop—they set the tone, elevate the atmosphere, and create those unforgettable details that will live on in your photos and memories for years to come. With thoughtful design and care, I make sure every event leaves a lasting impression.
Johanna did such an exceptional job for my wedding! She swooped in on super short notice and guided me along the process every step of the way. She understood my vision and produced the most beautiful bouquets and centerpieces for our special day. They truly exceeded my expectations. Johanna also created elegant menus with personal touches. She gave many helpful tips along the way and thought of all the little things. I loved working with Johanna and felt like I was in trusted and capable hands the whole time. She is extremely professional and abundantly creative. I know she puts her heart into her work, and she helped take so much off my hands — it made such a difference for me in the end, and I am very grateful. Johanna is incredible! Such a lifesaver. She made wonderful florals and decor and can honestly do anything and everything, all while being a comforting and helping presence along the way! I cannot recommend her enough! She will take any crisis (like when our venue got covered in construction and we were worried the arch wouldn't be able to be used) and not only talk you thru it but still make it all look fabulous. She totally gets whatever you are looking for and can make things work with your budget, and is such a great person in general to work with! Will recommend her forever!

Sage and Sonder were so professional and helpful! They were right on time and went straight to work setting up a beautiful balloon arch for both my entrance and my projector screen. They used colors that fitted the theme of my engagement party and helped tie in all of the elements together with it. It was so beautifully and effortlessly done and I appreciate how much time went in to making sure my day was as beautiful as it was and it was just that and even more.
