I've always been the creative, organized type—whether it was planning corporate events as a Corporate Sales Manager or helping organize reunions for my alma mater's Alumni Association. And of course, I’ve always loved putting together special gatherings for family and friends.
Five years ago, I took on one of my biggest projects yet: planning my own backyard wedding in just under three months. I was confident everything would be perfect, but the day before the wedding, life had other plans. A sudden storm took down my tents, my soon-to-be husband broke his foot, and my dad ended up with a concussion.
After a long day at the ER, I was back home arranging flowers, setting up a wedding arch, tying chair sashes, and making sure every little detail was just right. Despite all the chaos, the wedding turned out beautiful. The moment I saw my groom, all the stress melted away.
That experience taught me an important lesson—sometimes it’s better to have help. As a bride or groom, you should be able to enjoy your special day without the added pressure of handling every detail. That’s why I’m here: to bring your vision to life and make sure your event is everything you’ve dreamed of... stress-free!
Johanna did such an exceptional job for my wedding! She swooped in on super short notice and guided me along the process every step of the way. She understood my vision and produced the most beautiful bouquets and centerpieces for our special day. They truly exceeded my expectations. Johanna also created elegant menus with personal touches. She gave many helpful tips along the way and thought of all the little things. I loved working with Johanna and felt like I was in trusted and capable hands the whole time. She is extremely professional and abundantly creative. I know she puts her heart into her work, and she helped take so much off my hands — it made such a difference for me in the end, and I am very grateful. Johanna is incredible! Such a lifesaver. She made wonderful florals and decor and can honestly do anything and everything, all while being a comforting and helping presence along the way! I cannot recommend her enough! She will take any crisis (like when our venue got covered in construction and we were worried the arch wouldn't be able to be used) and not only talk you thru it but still make it all look fabulous. Sage and Sonder were so professional and helpful! They were right on time and went straight to work setting up a beautiful balloon arch for both my entrance and my projector screen. They used colors that fitted the theme of my engagement party and helped tie in all of the elements together with it. It was so beautifully and effortlessly done and I appreciate how much time went in to making sure my day was as beautiful as it was and it was just that and even more.
